Advantiv Announces New DecisionDirector Product Offerings
CRM Planning and Selection, DD Unlimited, and DD Requirements Manager
Phoenix, AZ - June 6, 2008 - Advantiv Solutions, LLC announced three new DecisionDirector® product offerings today: CRM Planning and Selection, DD UnlimitedTM, and DD Requirements Manager.
CRM Planning and Selection KnowledgePacks
In response to higher education’s rapidly increasing interest and adoption of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Advantiv announced today the availability of its new CRM system planning and selection DecisionDirector KnowledgePacks.
Geared specifically to help colleges and universities craft a CRM project charter, identify and assess CRM-related business processes, define CRM requirements and evaluate CRM vendors, these new KnowledgePacks focus on the mission-critical student recruitment functions. Advantiv joined forces with LL Consulting, LLC of Pullman, WA, to develop the KnowledgePacks.

Advantiv and LL Consulting also announced plans for a Summer 2008 release of additional CRM KnowledgePacks, focusing on Student Retention and Alumni Relations. All KnowledgePacks are designed to fully integrate with the company’s highly successful DecisionDirector stakeholder collaboration platform.
DD Unlimited
Advantiv announced today that it will be making its hosted DecisionDirector platform available for unlimited, enterprise-wide use.
This new offering, called DD Unlimited, will be available as an annual subscription to Advantiv’s DecisionDirector technology and is designed to enable project managers and others throughout an institution to easily and cost-effectively use DecisionDirector’s capabilities in projects large and small.
According to Advantiv’s Miller, “DecisionDirector isn’t just for large-scale system selection projects with hundreds or thousands of participants. It’s also very effective in smaller projects and activities such as idea gathering, fact-finding, brainstorming, requirements gathering, assessments, vendor evaluations of any kind, post-implementation verification - virtually anything that would derive benefit from having an easy-to-use and structured approach to team collaboration.”
DD Requirements Manager
Advantiv announced today that it is building a toolset for managing and tracking system requirements during the implementation planning and execution phases.
“We have taken a lot of project teams through requirements definition and vendor selection”, said Miller. “Then, when we leave, those same teams revert to using Excel to track and manage requirements during implementation, starting with the fit/gap analysis process. They have to track and answer questions like ‘what’s a fit?’, ‘what’s a gap?’, ‘who’s affected?’, ’what are the options to resolve the gap?’, and ‘who’s signed off on the chosen option?’, et cetera. We’re now developing an easy-to-use web-based tool to manage all of that.”
Miller expects that DD Requirements Manager will be available for general release in August 2008, with a pilot taking place this month.
